Smith Therapy Partners recognizes that there is nothing more important than your health and safety during this global pandemic. Nevada’s State government has deemed physical therapy an essential component of health care during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic; therefore, our clinics will open to serve those in need in our community. We are committed to following current guidelines from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the State of Nevada regarding the preventative measures needed to protect our patients and employees who enter our physical therapy clinics.
The following steps are to be taken at all Smith Therapy Partners locations daily:
- Masking: All patients, guests, therapists, and staff members will be required to wear a mask while in the clinic. If an individual has a medical condition or other restriction that prevents them from wearing a mask, please ask them to speak with the Clinic Director. The inability of a patient to wear a mask may require additional steps be taken while treatment is provided.
- Patient/Visitor/Vendor screening: Screening will consist of both temperature screening and COVID-19 screening questions to be completed at arrival to a Smith Therapy Partners facility. Screening will be documented using the Covid-19 Screening sign in sheet. The following screening questions are to be asked, if they answer yes to any, they will be asked to return home and follow the current CDC guidelines for return to normal activity.

- In the last 14 days have you been in close contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19?
